Mission:
The Covenant Kid’s Day Out (CKDO) mission is to nurture and enrich the lives of children during the critical years of early learning and create the foundation for our students to flourish throughout God’s plan for their lives. Our staff embraces the view that each child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. The preschool provides a learning environment that supports children as they develop the strengths and skills necessary for them to construct their own knowledge and prepare them for their next school environment.
Goals:
· CKDO will provide interactions and experiences to help children to:
· Develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively;
· Develop problem solving skills;
· Develop conflict resolution skills; and
· Be a member of the preschool community.
· Meet DCSD kindergarten readiness guidelines.
