Covenant Church

I think I was about 16 when I first picked up some drum sticks and started banging away on the set at my church.  It was a white set I believe and I thought I was alone in the sanctuary of Houma First Assembly of God.  I spent days there just working, painting, cleaning and doing pretty much anything because I loved God's house.  Boy did that prepare me for what I was embarking on!  Still painting.......anyway, our youth pastor, Troy Picou (What's Up Troy, located him on facebook recently!) came in and said play for youth service.....so I did a little here and there.  Incidently, I am giving the drumsticks up for good, so if you know of a good drummer, there is a great church that is looking for one!  Unless we get this one up to speed....ck out the video below.

we were just kicking it at the church prior to service on wednesday night and the team was practicing so he decided to jump on, first time playing with the band....That's my boy!
